Néa Dune
SireNea
Néa Dune is Croatia’s first mermaid (SireNea) for the past decade, and hopes to change that! On land she is a professional multilingual actress, creature performer, model/covergirl and multi-faceted creative, splitting time between Europe and USA. As a volunteer and humanitarian for the majority of her life, environmental work is a cause extremely dear to Néa's heart.
She conceived MerAdria in the heat of the pandemic lockdown and strives for it to become an international oasis for merfolk lovers, joining forces with her fellow Balkan mers from Slovenia, and to raise awareness on keeping their beautiful native Adriatic Sea clean and safe!
Barbara Petek
Mermaid Arabella
Mermaid Arabella is Slovenia's first pro mermaid and founder of ARABELLA Mermaid Academy. She is a swim teacher and a lifeguard. She became a professional mermaid and instructor 7 years ago in the Philippines with IMSIA.
Barbara competed in the World Mermaid Championship in China in 2019 and through the art of mermaiding, she wants to bring magic into the life of others, inspire and raise awareness about ocean pollution. She is publishing her first children's book about a mermaid through which she wants to teach children about values, the importance of gratitude and dreaming, because dreams do come true if you believe in them!
Tamara Anžič
Tamy Deluxe
Tamy Deluxe is the graphic designer behind our MerAdria logo and banners. She is an award-winning tattoo artist for 25 years and studio owner in Koper, Slovenia, seasoned in mermaid tattoos! Tamy is a cosplayer and costumer specialising in 18th century clothing, as well as aspiring mermaid tail designer. She has been a mermaid for 4+ years, and is Nitrox and PADI Open water advanced certified diver.
Photobilly
Boštjan Tacol - Photobilly is an established Slovenian professional photographer of 15+ years, specializing in portrait and editorial photography, with a special love for pin-up, vintage, boudoir styles. Head of the commercial photo team at Studio Moderna, he is known for his mastery of color and light!
